Pope Pius XII Assembly 941

Pope Pius XII Assembly was formed in 1958. As the number of Sir Knights increased in the Easton Area and the addition of the Bangor and Nazareth Councils it was deemed prudent to form an Assembly in the local area. With the approval of Supreme, the Assembly was formed and the Associated Councils were Union Council 345, Easton, Father DeNisco Council 3862, Bangor, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Council 4282, Nazareth, Father Stommel Council 4545, Haycock and Cardinal Strich Council 4649, Quakertown and the most recent addition St Rocco's Council 14082, Martin Creek. Cardinal Strich Council 4649, Quakertown recently broke away and formed their own Assembly.

Our Assembly is located in Easton PA and we are part of District 34. Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month, except December, beginning @ 7:30 PM at various Supporting Council locations.

SUPPORTING COUNCILS

With the approval of Supreme, the Assembly consists of:

ACTIVITIES

As the Patriotic Order we support fund raisers for veterans, memorials, and those who currently serve our Nation. The Assembly supports all Pro Life Activities – 2014’s Run For Life. Members with Regalia serve as Honor Guard for Funerals of Fourth Degree Members, as well as Special Mass Ceremonies as requested.

CHALICE FUND

The Assembly has a voluntary Chalice Fund for members who wish to participate. In the event of the death of a member of the Chalice Fund, a chalice is presented to the Family once the Family designates its final destination either to be donated to a priest or Church at the request of the Family; or if no one is designated by the family, the chalice is donated to a priest in need in a remote jurisdiction; presently there are arrangements with priests in the Philippines through the nuns at Immaculate Conception School in Pen Argyl. All Assembly members are encouraged to join. See Sir Knights James Di Paolo, Fund Administrator or the current Faithful Controller.
